Sheffield Photographic Society Audio-visual Group
This successful group meets once a month on Friday evenings from September to June.

The aim of the Group is to enjoy the audio-visual aspect of photography by producing work for showing to general audiences, using either traditional slide/tape or digital techniques. Two or three public shows are presented each season plus occasional shows for the main Society.
New members are always made welcome in this friendly, enthusiastic group; many are new to audio-visual work and not all own their own equipment but help is readily available from the more experienced workers.
Membership of the Group is restricted to members of the Sheffield Photographic Society and a small additional charge is made at meetings to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments.

October 17th 'I do it my way'
Four Group members talk about their approach to producing their sequences.
November 7th Colin Balls FRPS APAGB
member of Wilmslow Guild, will show 2 AV's and analyse them, and comment on
the techniques used to produce them.
December 6th AV Show St Luke's Church
December 12th Christmas Competition. 'Tell a Story'.
This can be music with pictures and/ or words to illustrate a theme.
January 9th 'Different Aspects of Script Writing'.
Six Group members explain their techniques.
January 30th We visit the Leeds AV Group at Cookridge Hall,
Leeds,
to show a selection of members' sequences.
February 27th Keith Brown
will tell us about the RPS AV Group Distinctions, and show selected
successful AV's.
March 7th PAGB AV Distinctions Day
hosts Sheffield
March 13th
