Digital Support Group

Sheffield Photographic Society Digital Support Group

This group meets once a month on Thursday nights throughout the year.

Click here for the meeting location.

The room is open from 7:15 for a 7:30 start, and meetings finish at 10:00

The aim of the group is to concentrate on the digital aspects of photography, in particular the often confusing and difficult processes involved in taking images from a digital camera and producing good quality prints from them. Members' experience varies from beginners to experts, and most weeks the digital coordinator or other members of the group will show you how to perfect some aspect of your digital photography. New members are made very welcome and can learn a lot about this new and rapidly evolving technology.

There is no fixed programme for these meetings, but instead various members of the group talk about topics of interest. Some of these talks are as short as 15 minutes, while others occupy most of an evening. The digital coordinator will be pleased to receive suggestions for topics to be covered at future meetings, and offers of short or long talks about any relevant topic.

Membership of the Group is restricted to members of the Sheffield Photographic Society and a small additional charge is made at meetings to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments.

If you require further information please contact the Digital coordinator:
