Dear All
Re: Volunteer take Photos for Friends of the Peak District and CPRE South Yorkshire
You may have come across our organisation via the information we send out annually trying to attract members to participate in our annual photo competition (which we will be launching in the Spring by the way so watch this space).
In addition to the photo comp, we are hoping to recruit someone with an interest in photography to take some snaps for us to add to the image bank and also to use to illustrate specific articles/press releases etc. relating to our campaigns.
The images needn't be the most artistic shots as long as they capture the key image and the message we are trying to get across so it may be that we need pictures of telephone masts in inappropriate areas, litter in areas of outstanding beauty, pictures of people using the peak district park for leisure activity and exercise and just generic shots of villages and churches to illustrate an area. In addition we need people to attend and snap participants in our events and at our meetings (AGM etc) to use in articles and on the web.
Of course we will be still be looking for stunning images to use on the web site and to grace the front cover of the newsletter and will be happy to consider any images submitted for the annual photo competition.
If you or your members are interested in finding out more about the opportunity available, give me a ring or drop me a line and I can send on additional information. I have attached a copy of the role description and a list of images required already to give you an idea of the type of thing we are after.
Many thanks for your assistance in this matter,
Best wishes
