Here at Marie Curie Cancer Care we believe that everybody deserves the best quality of life and that they should be able to decide where they spend the last few weeks of their lives. This year, Marie Curie Cancer Care will care for around 27,000 terminally ill patients in the community and at our hospices, completely free of charge. Every hour of every day we need to raise £10,970 to continue our work. This money is raised through all manner of different ways and at the moment we desperately want to recruit a Professional Photographer Volunteer to work with us in taking some amazing and creative pictures that we can use to both advertise/promote fundraising events coming up in South Yorkshire and to also raise the profile of some of the already brilliant work of our volunteers and nurses in this region.
If you could please send a message out to all your society members that we are on the hunt for a Professional Photographer to volunteer with us that would be fantastic - we don't spend any money on local advertising so your help spreading the word is much appreciated. We're looking for someone who is dynamic and creative and who would like to give a small amount of their time to take photographs of Marie Curie Cancer Care supporters and events in a range of locations. The pictures will then be used in newsletters, on the website and be sent to local press. Obviously the person would need to own a digital camera and access to e mail is also essential. We love to use exciting and engaging images to promote events and work of our volunteers and Nurses, so experience in taking creative photos that capture the press is required.
I really appreciate your help in helping us find a volunteer photographer, we couldn’t do what we do without the amazing support of our volunteers across South Yorkshire so all help is invaluable to us.
