Treak Cliff Cavern, Thursday 28th July 2005

Our good luck with the weather ran out today, when the monsoon season hit Sheffield. It poured with rain all day but a small band of enthusiasts made it to Treak Cliff during a lull in the storm for a special event organised by Keith Brown. Being such a small number having special entrance to the cavern gave ideal photo opportunities. I was ill unfortunately so I could not be there, but Steve Dorey has kindly sent these pictures to give a flavour of the day. The deluge outside made for extra drips in the cave (there are always some drips) so the visitors had to mind their cameras carefully.
