Beauchief Abbey, Tuesday 4th July 2006

We had a wonderful evening for this walk, with sunshine slanting across the grass and giving a warm colour to the old stonework of the abbey. This led to a very good turnout of members, finding out more about some of the oldest building remains in the Sheffield area, and visiting a very picturesque area of woods and fields.
