Kinder, Saturday 15th July 2006

A select party of eight set off on the very sunny day to climb from Edale up onto Kinder and visit the Wool Pack rocks, a collection of gritstone boulders sculpted into wonderful shapes by wind and weather. The sun shone brilliantly all day but the air was not too hot for comfort. The scramble back down Grindsbrook was very testing, but we enjoyed a welcome drink in the Old Nag's Head at Edale to finish off the day.
