Flamborough, Sunday 13th May 2007

This year's Bakewell Photo Society outing was to Flamborough and Bridlington, and as usual a group of SPS members joined in. The weather forecast for the day was pretty dire, but we were heading in the right direction away from the rain, so we had some fine weather at Flamborough - Bridlington was a different story!

North Landing, Flamborough, where some of the party stayed You can always rely on boats to be colourful Heading out to sea The very rugged coast near North Landing More coast And more The Yorkshire Belle sails by, bringing back memories to some A herring gull on its nest A very nonchalent gull SPS members waiting to transfer to Bridlington More SPS members (and friends) A fishing boat heading into Bridlington harbour Some pictures supplied by Keith Allchin ... ... close up studies of beach and rocks ... ... and socks? A rusty chain A piece of rope A grating At least we didn't have to pay when we got there
