Derwent Reservoir, Tuesday 15th May 2007

The first SPS outing of the summer was to Derwent reservoir to see the site of Birchinlee village, which housed the workers on Derwent and Howden dams. One of Frank Milner's colleagues led the outing, giving lots of information about the old village, and afterwards leading us into the depths of the stone dam wall.
